Steven's Birthday

After the birthday dinner at La Porchetta, we arrived home to prepare steven's 21st birthday surprise.. lol.. Saw a pack of water bomb (balloons) earlier in Kmart and decided that since it's a 21st birthday, we should all give him a BIG birthday surprise! Kekeke..

We surprised him in his room at 12 midnight with a birthday cake. Welllll.. not exactly a surprise la.. since he's already seen the cake earlier.. lol..

Steven got "bombed"~!! Kekeke.. As it is now already in autumn, the weather's rather cold at night.. Thus we've only prepared 21 water bombs.. 1 for each year.. kekeke..

Birthdays!

Celebrated 2 birthdays last week.. Firstly, it was my birthday on the 19th, then followed by steven's birthday on the 2oth.. Coincidentally, i made a friend here who's birthday is just 1 day after mine!! LOL =D

This is the 1st time that i celebrated my birthday overseas.. Kinda miss ms tan for being there at my birthday every year.. Wished that she was here, but well anyway, she said she's got pressies for me liao! WOOHOOO.. Can't wait to get back to sg to see what she's gotten for me.. Since she insisted on letting me know what it is. LOL..

On the eve of my birthday, just after 12 midnight, friends next door came over to surprise me with pressie and cards! Kekeke..

I was in my bedroom when they came in to surprise me! LOL.. my housemate (grace) helped them to sneak in.. and to think, all 6 of them managed to sneak into my house without me noticing it.. hahahaha..
These 2 sweet girls (chern shu and shinyi) gave me a card and Kenzo perfume!

And, this us.. A group pic before they went back to their house next door.. =D And this year, i celebrated my birthday with friends i've made in Melbourne.. We had dinner in....

In Melbourne, there aren't as many cakes/bakery shops as compared to singapore.. Thus, getting a nice and yummy whole cake here is not an easy feat.. Thanks to Clara for bringing this cake all the way from Melbourne City.. And guess how much this cake costs? It actually costs...... A$58.. Power cake ar!

Ohhh.. Before i forget... I got a pink Nintendo DS Lite as birthday pressie!! Thanks mr. Vincent ar... Kekeke.. ^_^

Easter Activities

Well.... Easter's over weeks liao.. Haben have the time to update coz of being back to classes and my 10 assignments.. =(

Anyhow, easter week was wonderful.. Candy arrived in Melbourne on the 6th and we started our 1 week of fun!

Over the next few days, we've been to St. Kilda, Shopping (Queen Vic Market, QV Shopping Mall, Smith St, Lygon St, Chapel St, Cheltenham DFO), horse riding and go-karting.

This is the famous St Kilda Sunday Market.. It's one of the "must-go" in Melbourne. Be there early, coz the stalls/shops in Melbourne closes really early.
Luna Park!! Nope, i didn't go in to play coz i feel that the tix price is not worth it.. c0z the rides are too kiddish.. Decided not to waste money in Luna Park, and save that money for Genting Highlands Theme Park!!! Kekeke..
This is one restuarant in St Kilda that you REALLY cannot afford to miss. Reason being... their food portions are really HUGE! Especially...... THIS. The FAT BASTARD!! Serious. It's called the Fat Bastard.. For meat (beef) lovers, this burger has 3 THICK layers of beef patty.. Only a really really really hungry guy can finish it in one go...

Look at the SIZE of that burger.. it's as big as Vincent's face! LOL..

During easter, one of our aim is to get to a farm and horse riding! yupz, below are some photos taken in Warrook Farm - Mornington Peninsula..

Sheep shearing is one of the main task in the local farms.. It's a high paying job.. that is if you dun mind "breaking" your back... a very very tiring job..

After horse riding, it was too late to go to Ashcombe Maze.. =( will definitely go there next time round! The next three pics are taken at Arthur's Seat.

Easter's Break here's!

Can you believe it? Easter's finally here!!! Woooohooooo!! 10 whole days of fun fun fun!! =D

Dinner tonight .. hee hee..

Tonight's dinner should be considered one of my best-ever-made-since-coming-to-Melbourne.. =D

I made bak kut teh pork ribs soup + broccoli with mock abalone + minced pork potato.. Though it doesn't really taste that yummy. . Definitely not as yummy as what my mum or Singapore restuarants would make, i think it's good enough for my standards liaoz.. =p
